The portions mentioning Sebring-Vanguards CitiCar are as follows:

COST OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Mr. Yates. How much does an electric vehicle cost now?
Dr. Mannella. It is difficult to tell because the market today is
essentially composed of custom-type vehicles. I might point out in
1974, in the wake of the oil embargo, Sebring Vanguard Corp, manufactured about 2,000 city cars which sold for $3,000.
Mr. Yates. Wha t do you mean by a city car?
Dr. Mannella. That is the name of their little two-seater vehicle.

UTILIZATION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Mr. McDade. A friend of mine owns one and drives to and from
his office and to the golf course. For what it is worth. at least 4 years ago we had Westinghouse from our State come to Washington and they said they had an electric car that was ready to go and the only problem that prevented it was the lack of infrastructure you described yesterday for servicing.
Dr. Mannella. I believe Congressman Rhodes drives a city car.
Dr. Mannella. Secretary Adams of DOT drives an electric car.
Mr. Yates. The Administrator says he drives it too but he knows he
is only going to drive six blocks.
